The work-life balance is popular with management professionals encouraging young adults and parents to balance home and work. However, there is so much more to life and it is much more involved than working and going home. The pictorial representation illustrates that each area is not static. One section cannot exist without another, and they all bleed into each other. Human beings and human nature are complex, and each of us is different and unique. The simple WLB is not sufficient to describe living. It is an outdated concept. After the Covid-19 Pandemic, people realized there was much more to living than only two variables.

Everyone should have a goal aimed at living their best life. A life full of relationships, happiness, and an income that supports that way of living comfortably is the new goal. We all deserve a life full of joy, a life full of relationships, a life that we can look back on and know that we have lived. That is the Work-Living Balance.
